Anyone's noob ever had this? How long does it take to heal? DD's pediatrician treated it with silver nitrate 2 days ago...but its still goopy...and it looks like the SN has warn off.

I have 2 kids & 1 angel baby & live in Kentucky

I'm positive DD has this too. We have an appointment this week so I'm going to have the doctor address it. When her umbilical cord fell off I noticed it immediately but her belly button has since kind if closed up & it kinda grossed me out I don't wanna poke around her belly button LOL :/ I HAAAATE belly buttons

It took my son about 5 days for it to get better after the treatment
