question about mylanta

posted 5th Jan
I posted this yesterday but got no replies, so thought I would repost.

When I was a baby (20 years ago) pediatricians, or at least mine, recommended adding a 1/4 tsp of mylanta to a bottle for colicky babies. I was just wondering if anyone knows why they advice against that now.
