ovulating late while breastfeeding...

So only a few months ago I had my first pp period (23 months), I tracked it for a while and it was coming every 22 days which is very short for me. So anyway my last period started 22 Oct last year which would put me at around 11 weeks pregnant, I had an ultrasound on the 21st of December which showed a sac and yolk sac which looked to be around 6 weeks of gestation, but no fetal heartbeat yet. So now I have another ultrasound scheduled for Monday to see whats going on now.

My question when you were breastfeeding and having a regular(ish) cycle did you find you ovulated late? Or when you found out you were pregnant were your own dates completely out?

I did! I am still nursing my 18 month old on demand and my cycles just started back when she was 13 months old. They seemed pretty regular. I didn't track when I ovulated though. They came every 30 days. I was late in November and it took a week to have a positive test. When I went to thr dr I should have been 8 weeks, but I measured 6 weeks. I had another ultrasound when I should have been 10 weeks according to my period, but measured 8 weeks. I definitely ovulated late! I hope this helps! And I hope everything goes well for you!

I forgot to let you know! I had my ultrasound and was 8w4d (now 9w1d) I must have ovulated really quite late. Bubs hb was 172, the highest my boys ever were was 160, im excited

Well that is awesome! I'm glad it went well! I have another ultrasound tomorrow! I should be around 10 weeks 4 days!

At my last appt they said I had a small separation between the placenta and uterus. They just want to check it out.
