Falling off bed

So DS fell off the bed this morning.. he was playing with a toy and I turned to grab a diaper when I head a thump. He only cried till I picked him up and then he was all smiles and playing with me as usual. I called the on call Pedi and he said he would be fine especially since he didnt react long from it and to just watch for unusal behavior and vomiting. Well he's got a small bump on the side of his head towards the back   I feel horrible.
But here's my question. DS usually naps around this time and his throwing a fit for his bottle and nap. Is it okay to let him nap when this only happened maybe a half hr ago? I called the Pedi again but the nurse said he was busy and would get back to me asap. Well DS is not waiting for asap.

Doctor said he should be fine so I don't see why not. call him and ask

He is fine. Let him sleep

If it were me, I would let him nap. If he's not showing any signs at all of concussion (vomiting, dizzyness, excessive fussiness, etc), then I would not worry at all. My son has hit his head too many times to count and has never had a concussion.
