FTM Q about shots

LO is getting his shots on Tuesday, I am wondering what I can expect.
I have some baby tylenol, can I give it before the shots as a preemptive measure or just wait untill he feels cranky /feverish?

Oooooooo didn't know that one. Thanks, will look into that and ask the doc what else we can do to lessen the pain  

The doc will tell you to give tylenol before shots. . however i NEVER did. i dont give meds unless its nessicary. shots will likely leave little knots on their legs and thats ok. if they act like it hurts put cold compress on the injection area.

My dd ALWAYS gets a fever with her shots so I give her tylonal before we leave and she usually needs it through the next day and she's cuddly and sleeps. Never had any issues (bumps, rashes, reactions, etc)

Well I prefer not to give Tylenol, but if he is going to be in pain or feverish it might be better right?

Other than that, I guess he will be fussy for a day or two?

theres no point in giving them tylenol until after the shots if they get a fever or seem to be in pain.
