They get themselve into a schedule in mu opinion and from what I've read on here. some take longer than others.
Dexter got himself into a decent routine from the beginning, eating every 3 hours and sleeping inbetween. and then after a couple weeks slept through the night.

Hang in there, Lovely. x

You can't get a two-weeks-old baby on a sleep schedule. It takes months before babies develop sleeping habits.

I don't agree. I followed Gina Fords contented little baby routine with both of my children and they were both in a routine by 1 month. Every baby is obviously different but like I say the routine worked for both of mine.

I would recommend trying Gina fords contented little baby routine you can get the book of ebay or amazon for only a few pounds/dollars. when I had my children I knew nothing about babies or routines or how much to feed. It was like the bible to me. I didn't follow it exacatly I just followed the sleep and feed times. You do your feed and bedtime at 18:30 then you wake them up at 22:30 for the last feed then they normally go till about 01:00 to start off with but it gets longer and longer. It really does work but you'll have to give it a few days and you may have to tweak it a bit but she has a book called the sleep guide to accompany it. It's really good. You could just give it a go what have you got to loose.

Oh i feel your pain. I have 3 kids, 7, 2 and LO is a week old. The past week iv been up every single night on the couch with him, but he sleeps feed to feed (4 hours) during the day. He is usually bad with the last night feed, but tonight his last feed was 9pm, so i sat up expecting him to wake.....its now 1:15am and im still sitting up waiting for him to wake up lol.

I finally just went to the couch and put her in her rocker that vibrates at like 5am and she went to sleep.

I also didn't necessarily mean I wanted to put her on an actual schedule, though I'll probably be checking out that book you guys mentioned   she has her nights and days mixed up cuz she sleeps all day long and is up all night
I wanted to know how to reverse that
