omg i just woke up (4am) with the WORST leg cramp. it would come for 3 min then stay away for 30 seconds then come back again! i woke up crying. i also woke up from one yesterday morning at 6am. but it went away after the first wave of cramping and was only the right leg. today i felt it more in the left leg and somewhat in the right. it seems like if im sleeping on my right side its my left side that hurts worse and vice versa. anyone else get this? what can i do? i cant massage it because i cant reach it (33 weeks). so i had to wake dh up to help me out. i know im not dehydrated either
charlie horses - common in pregnancy. you need to drink more water (you probably are dehydrated - you have to drink TONS more in pregnancy to remain hydrated) and add more potassium to your diet (bananas)
When you first feel that happening point your feet to your head! The best advice I ever had. It save me so much pain. Keep arresting your foot or toes to your head till you feel it's going to stay away.
