Sleepless and sad.

Tonight is the first time me and boyfriend have been apart at night since we met last year. I'm heart broken he's gone for the next two months. And I have no one to talk to. Friends all seem to be out and gone and my mother would rather talk about herself. Which is understandable, no one really wants to listen to a sad sap. I'm crushed I know 2 months isn't that long but when your so is your best friend and someone you see every day minus working hours it seems like forever. Not to mention I don't know what to tell my daughter when she comes home tomorrow and asks where Kreig is. She doesn't understand that he's in the military, she's only 4.  

Just tell here had to go to work far away & won't be home for awhile, will he be able to call/Skype?

I'm glad you made the choice to stay with your daughter and not leave her.


I hope these two months fly by for you!

Explain it to her so you at least have her to miss him with.

2 months is a pretty long time so you're not out of your mind for missing him. I've seen girls on here losing their minds and having "emotional breakdowns" because their husband was working the night shift.

You'll get to have a second first kiss, so look forward to that.

Make a countdown.
Make a paper chain for every day he's gone.
Write him every day even fi you don't have an address to send them to yet.
Take a picture for him every day.
Start a journal.

Anything to keep yourself busy.

It's crazy how things worked out, I told him I was staying, and about two weeks later he got put on some kind of hold his orders to okc cancelled and he went on mission for two months. But it worked out for the best, when he gets back hell be stationed here until he's out of the military. (only thing I have to look forward too for these two month without him)

I started sketching again on my spare times and I bought a huge calendar last night so I could number the days off. Now Im thinking about picking back up a job to keep busy. Two months feels like an eternity though. I've spent all day going back to his fb to look at pictures and going through my photo album on my phone.

Missing him is going to suck, but it WILL end. Don't let it get the best of you. Make an effort every day to stay positive.
