Cillian still nurses about every 20-30 mins, sometimes with an hours break in between.

Also, we are trying to do BLW, but I'm very reluctant to let him start eating food because I'm scared of him getting sick or not being able to handle it, or allergies, etc... crazy I know but I have so much anxiety. Despite my hesitation, I let Daddy feed him a few de-salted pretzels a day the last few days, and yesterday some banana.

Will it decrease his frequency of BF or drop my supply? I don't want him to wean earlier than 1.5 at the earliest, even though he will do whatever he wants lol.

How do you do BLW and respect his instincts and readiness to eat, while I am still afraid for him and reallllly wanting to BF a long time. :/

She weaned at 9 months (a mutual choice) as for the BLW it should be in addition to nursing not as a replacement. Just offer little bits of food here and there.

My lo is only 5 months and I'm planning on blw, but if you are concerned with loosing your supply, just pump and freeze when lo eats solids. Don't worry over it too much because most babies don't self wean that early. Good luck mama!

Only 3-4 times a day, and 2-4 at night. Unless we are in the bath together then he attacks them like he is famished LOL. He prefers real food.
