re: How do bra sizes work?

I was measured at Victoria Secret too & like the other mama said it was over my shirt & really fast but they told me I was a 34D which I feel like is not right at all but the bra did fit.. but at other stores that size is way to big so IDK...

I dunno about the whole bra fitting thing though... I used to work at victoria secret and we had to fit each other in the group interviews and she measured me way wrong cuz it was not my size or near it and everytime that i have been fitted anywhere, it has always been a diff size so Im like um... plus anyways as it is I hate bras because they never fit me right, they are always uncomfortable cuz the wire etc and mine pop out but my boobs are way too big and I hate it

I wore a 32B forever. Swore that's what I was. I'm actually a 34A. Ever since I found that out my bras fit so much better. So you may not even be a C.

Best place to get measured is a bridal shop, seriously. =)

Jumping in late, but you can exchange a band size for a cup size... like I should be in a 40F but it's cheaper/easier to get DDD, so I'm in a 42DDD. So maybe you should be in a bigger band size but the same cup. Just try on different bras until you find what fits better.

Layne Bryant is my usual go to because they are cute and you can catch them on sale. I did find a few at Target though. Macy's had DDD also. Fashion Bug used to but I think they went out of business and they kinda ran small anyway.
