Someone posted a topic and I wanted to respond by posting a link to a thread on that same topic. I couldn't remember what the title of that thread was, but I knew the original poster's name; well, at least I thought I did. I knew what it was, but she had some crazy characters thrown in there too, and when I was searching for her profile I wasn't typing it exactly as she had it. I got no results. (I finally found it after searching through several other of my old posts that I knew she had posted in as well). It then dawned on me that it would be greatto have partial matches return results when you do a member search (like you get when you search for a topic)? Thoughts? Opinions?

I've had the same problem. I wish it were easier and less complicated.

i agree! The same exact thing happened to me the other day. I was searching for a member and I left out like one little character and got no results.
