Rib cage

My son is 13 months old, BF, never taken a bottle, never really warmed up to baby food a lot. He like table food and will eat baby food too, as well as take a sippy cup but he wont always, he still prefers boob over everything most of the time. I take my vitamins and eat right that way he gets what he needs since he wont eat food. Anyways, he weighs about 22lbs and is 29.5 inches tall.

Is it ok that when he lays on his side i can see his rib cage stick out? I mean when he is walking around he has a chubby little belly but when he is laying down his ribs stick out a lot. We are trying really hard to get him to eat food, and when he does he wont eat vegetables hardly. Idk what to do and its getting frustrating.

My daughter is almost 4 and still wont eat much of anything. She is on pediasure. But he wont starve himself. He will eat when he is hungry.

My daughter was 23lbs at two so I would say he is fine.

My son didn't touch food until 14 months and very little but he's healthy active and vibrant. I think you should go by how is he acting. Is he active, happy, energetic? If so just give him what he wants.

my daughter is 2 and she weighs 21 lbs she is very petite she has a pudgy belly too my doc said it was nothing to worry about cus its the way she metabolizes her food cus she eats alot lol i was only 18lbs when i was 2 and im currently 4ft 11 so im petite the doc also said she got it from me cus i was tiny as long as they eat they are fine every kids metabolism is different

He only sits down the nurse. So id say he is pretty active. Hes pretty happy too except these tantrums hes been throwing lately. I just hate you can see his ribs so much. I am small too so i know he gets it from me but still
