baby pooping

Me and my husband has a 9month old baby and she is having trouble using the bathroom and what is the fastest way to make our babygurl poop. We have used karo syrup prune juice apple juice and bananas and nothing seemed to help.I need some advice because we are first time parents and it hurts us to see her in an trying to use the bathroom

Is she not able to or has it been a few days since she has?

you can use a suppository. I know it's not the best thing to do, but that may be the only way to help her out... :\

take her to the pedi. he'll prescribe her a laxative.

have you tried the anal thermometer? just stick it in like u would if taking her temp, it can help get her muscles going. has she had anything new to eat/drink?

Where can I get baby supportitorys at we went o walmart tonight and they only sell age 2-5 years old and she goes to the doctor Monday at 9:30 and ashes pooops but she is so conspated and it huts her to poop

you can use those... just one shouldn't really hurt anything... we had to do that with my son when he was 2 months old, bless his heart. Just one of the kids shouldn't hurt, but you may want to ask a pharmacist or doctor.

call the on-call nurse at ur dr office...when my son was constipated at 12 months they told us to use half of the suppository. tho we didnt end up needing it. IS there something new you are giving her?

Bananas can cause constipation so no bananas. Take a thermometer put some Vaseline (or lube) on it. Gently insert just the tip into her rectum. Then slowly and gently move it in a circular motion. The vaseline should help the poop slide out some and the circular motion will open things up a bit so the poop can "fit" through. Also a warm bath and tummy massage.

The season she can't poop is because when she was 6 months old her pediatric an gave her the fu shot and she ran a fever over 103 and we took her to the hospital up here when we live and the did a rectal temperature and ever since they did that she has had trouble pooping every since they did that

the rectal temp isnt gonna make her constipated...

Or do you mean shes had trouble for 3 months since the shot?

I highly doubt having a rectal temperature taken has any bearing on her constipation problems.

apple juice 4oz should work but dont water it down.
