Slow steppin'

Okay, so my daughter is 14 months old, && loves to walk. Wants to walk EVERYWHERE, as long as she's holding onto someones hands. She throws a fit when you sit her down, because all she wants to do is walk. She walks just fine with her rolling/walking toys, and cruises from furniture to furniture, but she refuses to do it by herself. My question, for someone who wants to walk soooo bad, why won't she do it on her own ? && We've even caught her, as long as noones paying attention to her she'll take a few steps by herself then sit down and scream because she wants someone to hold her hand so she can continue walking. Has any other mommies expiercienced this ? She acts like she has no confidence in herself to do it on her own. How did you help your little ones walk ?
