Cyst

I've had this bubble thing right at the opening of my vagina (on the inside), at the top.. I've had it for well over a year, I was never really sure what it was, but it always made me self consious during sex bc I felt like something wasn't right, or that it wasn't suppose to be there. I asked SO if it felt weird to him and he just shrugged and said that it felt normal to him. It's really irritating too, like I can't stand to be fingered (sorry) bc it's just... Uncomfortable.
Well, 2 days ago I had an appt. to see my OB for my 3rd Tri exam and thought that it would be a perfect time to bring it up and ask what it was... She told me it was a cyst, but nothing to worry about and that it would either go away on it's own or some women have it removed when they're older...
Have any of you ladies had this before? Did it go away?? It's been over a yr. for me and mine hasn't gone away.
I'm having a scheduled c-section, do you think that they would remove it then if I asked?
