Is she in counseling or a support group? Just ler her know you are there fore her but if she isnt seeking professional help maybe suggest that she does.

She needs counseling. She needs to meet women/parents who have been through what she has been through, The most you can do is be there and listen when she needs to talk.

No, she's not going through any counseling, she's shutting everyone out of her life including me and we've been friends for years. It's starting to worry me though cause I'll see on FB status' about her feeling like she needs to end her life or that she wishes she was never born so she couldn't feel pain, and whenever I try to text her and talk to her she just says that she's fine and tries to create a different conversation, I've tried telling her that it's better to talk things out but she just won't. I'm just very worried about her at this point.

You just may not be the person she wants to open up to...hell she may not know how to talk about it. Thats why its best that she seeks professional help.

Those should be reported, she should at least see someone and if she will not she should be put on a psych hold.

This makes me scared. I follow a page on Facebook about a baby who had Anencephaly. She was born and passed in November. She was unexpected to live very long. Her mom struggled with her passing. She never recovered (God I know you never recover but she never could accept her passing I guess) and she committed suicide a couple days ago.

She needs to seek counseling. If she won't. You as her friend need to report those statuses. If she can't contract for safety and will be an imminent danger to herself she will be put in a Psychiatric unit. They will get her the help she needs. She will meet people who have gone through all walks of life. She will be subjected to groups all day, medication readjustments or being started on medications if they see that is a good thing, she will see a Psychiatrist, Psychologist or therapist. It would be in her best interest to talk to her about seeing a therapist.
