If you bought a bassinet

how long did baby stay in it(what was the weight limit)?
do you think it was worth buying?

no is not less then one month

She was 7 months when I switched her to the crib. The weight limit was 15-20 lbs.

The pack n plays with bassinet attachment would be much more worth the money.

We got one as a gift and I used it for 3-4 months (weight limit 15lbs). If I wasn't given it as a gift I wouldn't have wasted the money honestly.

My kids stayed in there's for 6 months and were getting 3 babies worth out of it. It was a lifesaver.  

DD was in it for 3 months. It was because we were a bit broke then it worked for us long enough to buy a crib.

Kept her in bassinet til 8 wks and larger cradle til 5 mnths(#1)
#2 was in til 6 months....in bigger cradle til 10 months...finally using the crib...

Luckily I was given one, but it was a life savor fir the first 2I months, which is all he was small enough to fit in it...we had an extended bassinet with the longer sleep area and it still inly lasted us those two months...but my kid is huge...

Got mine off craigslist. DS was in it 3 or four months. I wouldn't spend the money for a new one personally. But I liked that it rocked. I think I'm just going to cosleep this time though.

Got both bassinets from craaigslst...lifesaver!

DS used his for 4 months, then he was too long for it and was trying to look over the side and I was afraid he was gonna fall out. I think it was worth the money. We're using it for this baby too, and will use it for the next one as well. I'm too afraid to cosleep in the same bed, but want them close to me so it was definitely worth it to me. Don't know the weight limit, though. DS even now at 20 months is only 24 pounds so I never worried too much about weight limits since he's kinda small.

We never used ours, but I wouldn't have past 5 months. She could sit up then, and by 6 she could pull up, so she wouldve flipped herself out of it.

If I were to get one this time I would ideally use it til 4 months, then put him/her in the crib.

get this kind with the "newborn napper". loooooved it. when baby is too big for newborn napper they can go in the bassinet part. then use it as a pack and play.
