question

I was wondering when babies get to the point of listening to you. My son is 7 months old and I was wondering at what age he might be able to understand me a little. He knows his name and when I tell him to come here sometimes he comes but mostly he decides not to. He laughs when I tell him stop or when I move him from something no matter how many times I remove him and tell him stop he.goes right back to it. I was just curious if I might be telling him stop.to soon like maybe he is too young.'
