I had a succesful VBAC 11 months after my c-section.
You can get a tubal reversed as far as I know.
I've never TTC. Ours have all been 'SURPRISE!!'

In va you have to be 25 or have 3 kids for tying tubes. It's not something easy to reverse, I'd recommend an IUD

The only one I can answer is #2, and if you aren't 100% sure, which is logical at your age, have your DH get a vasectomy. Waaaay easier to reverse. They say not to tie tubes, unless you are 100% sure, not 98%. It may not be reversible.

i don't know anything about all the other stuff, but i know that in most cases, if you're under 30, they will not do a tubal unless you have had 3 live births.... just saying.

A yr to 18 months after csect. Idk if they do tubal ligation during a csect or not some hosps have you wait and come back. Sometimes it can be reversed and sometimes not. You might be better off w mirena or something. Anytime we were ttc I'd pinpoint ovulation and just have lots of sex and for us elevating hips afterwards worked. We got preggo on the first try everytime. Good luck!

I was surprised that my doc, at 28 with 2 kids, said OK.... no questions asked.


But, at 21.... that is a BIG difference.

If your not 100% sure I would go with an IUD or something. Reversals can be done but increase your risk of ectopic preg and may not full function the way they did before and leave you unable to have more babies. Tubals are considered "permanent" for a reason.

They recommend waiting 2 years between pregnancies in general. They never told me a certain time to wait after my c-section, but a year should be ok.  

Tube reversal is possible, but it's expensive and not guaranteed to work in every case.

We didn't TTC, but if you have unprotected sex every other day you'll probably hit the mark! ;) There are lots of ladies who can tell you how to track your cycles and all.

oh okay, thanks everyone. I was on depo when I got pregnant with DD. The only other birth control I used was the pill, which I hated and switched right back to depo. I don't know much about getting your tubes tied. I just know that my mom got hers done after she had my sister in her 20's, then got pregnant twice after (one miscarriage) so I didn't know if she got them reversed or just accidentally got pregnant. I don't talk to my mom like that, or else I'd ask. I'll probably just talk to my doctor during my next pregnancy about birth control options.

yeah, it's funny because i know one girl who is 29, i think, and she has 2 kids and they said no, lol. i was like, "so close!"... i know someone else who's about 25 or 26 and she's pregnant with her third, and she said they had already said they'd do it for her after this one. i do think it depends on the dr and the insurance and all that too.

My friend who is 23 had her tubes tied after she had her 2nd and we live in Virginia!
I would not even do it if you are unsure, try something else! I was on the pill for 5 years and never got pregnant..as long as you use it right you probably wont get pregnant!

As for the VBAC I would wait ATLEAST a year. I have been researching them a TON because I plan to have one. My son just turned 1 but we are going to wait until he is almost 2 to TTC just to help make my VBAC more possible because it is very important to me! Though I would rather have my kids closer in age lol....

#2 they wont do in less ur 25 or have 3 kids here i know this because i was told with my medical problems they have no problem doing it but DH wants one more so i got paraguard

u can get pregnant after a they tie them.

Here VBACs aren't common so they like at least a year in between.

I know that my friend Jasmine got her tubes tied, she's 21 and has 2 kids.

I would recommend something more along implanon/IUD if you're not 100% or have SO get snipped

Didn't TTC- this baby was also a surprise. Not even a whole month off BC and we got pregnant while using condoms lol
