Watch your damn kids and get em out of my house!~~

...Is what I would say if I had the balls to approach my neighbors about their children.
There are a lot of kids in our neighborhood. All around ages 8-15. They all like to play outside, night or day, cold or warm. They ride their bikes, play ball in the street...stuff like that which I think is great. Not all kids like to go outside these days, especially in the wintertime! I mean I don't like being outside during winter! I tell them often that its great they are playing outside. And they should continue to do so.
But when they come knocking at my door whenever they damn will please, again...night or day...whenever they want...wanting to talk and hang out and play with the baby...well sometimes I just don't want to deal with kids that aren't mine!!! Especially if I'm not getting paid to babysit, lol.
Today about five or six of them came over knocking on the door. They all swarm to the doorway and one even comes into my house and picks up my DD saying "ooh sweet baby". I had to be kind of rude and say "Oookay I'm shutting the door now!" Because apparently they didn't understand what it meant when I said "We're not really up for playing today we're very tired and just staying inside for the evening".

I'm about to have to be the bitch woman who goes around to all the houses in the neighborhood saying, " please keep your children out of my house"...
I don't want to be that person but if they don't leave me alone I'm going to have no choice!!!

Also, we live in HOBO CITY. The park right down the street apparently houses many hobos in tents, and two of the girls once told me that the house right across the street from mine has homeless people staying in it too, and once they saw a knife in there. AAanother house up the street has tents in the back yard. We hear gunshots from the trailer park behind us sometimes...I mean if there was going to be a shooting in Fayetteville, my street is where it would happen!! Like...BE AWARE OF WHERE YOUR CHILDREN ARE WHEN THERE ARE DANGEROUS PEOPLE ALL AROUND!!!~

I've never had kids knock on my door to come in.

Put a sign on the door maybe that says do not disturb because baby is sleeping when the kids are out playing?

Take a marker and a piece of paper. Write Do Not Disturb. Cute Baby Sleeping. Ogre guarding door will be mean if you take another step closer. Take some tape. Put sign on door.

It doesn't hurt to tell them flat out go home. Or go back outside to play.

I hadn't thought about a sign! Thats a good idea.

I'm the bitch on the street lol oh well if they'd have kept their damn kids from teasing my dogs by poking them through the fence w sticks, climbing my 4ft fence to sneak into the pool or jump on my kids trampoline as were pulling into the drive.. Maybe I'd be nicer. Sometimes you have to put your foot down esp when the parents won't!

  they haven't gotten that bad yet...but if they do I will probably have to say something. I'm just nice to kids...I feel bad for being mean.

I prolly wouldn't have snapped if they weren't trying to hoist toddlers over the fence into my dog pen while the parents watched and said nothing. Those kids have beat our tires with sticks last summer. I just don't get what's wrong w some parents these days. My kids never leave my sight outside and they certainly don't go on others property or touch stuff that isn't theirs. We have outdoor rabbits so they were sneaking onto the back porch opening the cage. Could not imagine them pushing into the home and picking the baby up!

Will you be staying there long? Anything in the works for a new place?

get a barking dog doorbell its sometimes funny seeing kids runor you could ask the childrens parents to talk to them
