Increase then decrease fetal movemnet

posted 4th Jan
The last week after I thought my water broke, my baby girl has literally made my belly dance constantly all but a few breaks a day. Today I noticed she's barely moved. Or at least compared, And it isn't as strong as the last week. Should I be concerned. I'm 34-35 weeks and wondering if something could be wrong. I was wondering why she's been moving so much and today barely at all... Kick count is still fine. But as far as comparing, it's not what I'm used to.

Think so. They are going threw a huge growth spurt the last month. Plus, think about how much a newborn sleeps.

Yes it's normal for them to have lazy days or to be turned so that you don't feel the kicks/punches as much. I would start to worry if you didn't feel the baby moving for a couple of hours for example, but I wouldn't worry about the strength of the kicks/punches.

Thanks I feel her move, and I don't think a few hours have gone by, but sometimes I don't always pay attention if I'm doing something :/

Yeah that happens a lot. Whenever I got worried, I would just drink something cold and sugary and then sat still for a bit to make sure I felt the baby move. If i felt a couple of movements, I knew we were good to go.

Oh she woke up, after making me think I was going into labor, breaking a rib, and making me vomit. That was a fun night. I feel 'ok' ish now and she's moving so I know she's fine.
