bleeding question

I am six weeks pp and I quit bleeding about two weeks ago but I started to again. Why does this happen?

i cant help you but i wasn't sure how long we bleed pp .. but i guess u answered that for me..i'm only one week 3 days...so about 4 weeks?... and maybe its your monthly cycle starting up again.. just a thought

I am breast feeding and I thought you didn't get your period when you are breast feeding

Not true for everyone. I breastfed my first and right when I would have gotten my period if I hadn't been pregnant (which was only 4 1/2 wks pp) I got my period. This time, I am breastfeeding my newest, and I got my period at 3 1/2 wks pp. He is 7 1/2 wks old and I just finished my second cycle after having him (which again is when it should have come if I had never been pregnant). While it isn't common, it can happen.
