The timing of it is awful.. But in all honesty, mostly all branches of the military are finding reasons cut back... I'm still in contact with several Military wives, from what they say lots of their husbands buddies, friends, ect. are getting cut for random reasons whether it be low physical tests, too many NJPs, not showing initiative to be promoted in the alotted time... So her chances for getting in right now could be slim depending on the job she's wanting, her ASVAB score, ect.
My BIL is AF and said a lot of his friends got cut for failing their PTs..

yea i have heard that myself as far as i know she passed the asvab above average i dont thinks she took the physical yet tho lol my hubby wanted to go but knows he wont pass PT cus his knee has no cartilage and he has shuermans disease in his spine and i def wont pass now lol due to my fibromyalgia and sciatica

Oh yea depending on the job he wouldn't be allowed in.. especially if he wanted infantry because the amount of gear they have to carry around =/ my hubby put his flak jacket on me, his sea bag, and ruck sac and i fell over lol it was SOOO heavy!!! we weighed it and it weighed more than me! i was like holy smurf! it ages men beyond their years having to run with that stuff on. hubby was beginning to have lots of back/knee problems but had he mentioned it they would've med sept him out.

yea when i see my dad now at his age i dont think i want that for my hubby he wants to fly unmanned battle drones or work with computers he is already a computer tech, but my dad was in osi and they things he went thru are terrible he now has ptsd and he still works he is a work horse lol but with age my dad has started to seclude himself from everyone due to his pain and state of mind

ptsd is def a hard thing to deal with! near the end hubby had it as well from his combat deployments.. its crazy the things men see over there... i hope your dad is able to heal from the things he' seen/done.. as for hubby, that sounds like a awesome job to do!

it is hard to see him that way he was never in a war but he dealt with some nasty ppl that he investigated he has walked in on suicides etc. i cant go into to much lol i promised him i wouldnt tell ppl so out of respect i need to do that for him but my hubby is still back and fourth on the idea he wants to bad but he wants to do reserves first, and is your hubby still deployed that must me hard i couldnt imagine that

i totally understand that... no, hubby isn't deployed. he passed away a while back

So i've been told heh. we lost our son 3 years and 3 days shy of the day i lost him.. so i have my two angels in heaven now & ill be with them later   thanks   i do what i can, plus i have our son, so my life is good.
