selling handmade items
posted 4th Jan
If you sell your handmade items. Where do you sell them and how much extra income do you get each month?
Comments are appreciated.
I've tried etsy before and listed 5 or so items and they never sold. I'm struggling to find a job and i use crocheting as a stress relief/anti depression. I'd like to have a little money, unemployment isn't much.
Tips/advice please and thanks

My mum Knits to keep her hands moving or they seive up and she sells all her knitted stuff on facebook! She's made loads, we've got groups for sales stuff over here (ex. London Sales) and she advertises on there and gets loads of commision stuff.
It paid for Christmas this year. (gifts, food, fuel for the car, ect) x

I tried to look at your FB link to see the stuff you've made but I'm assuming its private because it will not let me go it.
I tried selling Bows at a craft store in town several years ago and I had to pay for my spot in the store. I only made 20$ in the 3 months I tried, now I'm too scared to bother trying to sell the jewelry I make so it just collects on my desk, lol.

I just deactivated my Facebook is why. I have a couple baby hats in a local shop. Sold 2 in one month and haven't sold again yet.
