Griffyn Calliope (Last name) sounds? It is okay if you aren't fond of the spelling or names themselves, but together, can you think of anything (As a 10 year old) to make fun of that?

No. Griffin is horrible on a girl.

I'm not sure if it will still be popular when she's older, but when I hear Griffyn, I think Gryffandor (sp?) from Harry Potter. lol. I personally think with your last name, a name with 3 syllables may work a little better since it's such a short last name?

I've never seen Harry Potter, I'm sure that name will somehow be tied into Griffyn if chosen lol. So thanks. I agree, I feel like our child will have to have such a long first and middle name to accomodate for the short last name. Hmm...decisions, decisions.

Although, growing up I did have such a long name, I don't know how fond of that I will be. It wasn't the most terrible thing to ever happen, but you do get kind of winded saying Caliopy Liander La Hoya lol. I am still alive though! And with a much shorter last name.

We are back on Swayze, it is the only name we both really like. We don't have any favorite middle names though yet. Any suggestions?
