Thats usually the main cause of bleeding during preg since your cervix is very sensitive and the blood vessels break easily. It's not a big deal. But try to wait a week or two for intercourse to let yourself heal back up and take It easy during sex

I experienced the same thing.. as long as it is not a lot (enought to soak a pad) and you do not have serious cramping (like a bad period) you should be fine. It is very scary. Althought it was not the case with me, sex duirng pregnancy is safe however can be a cause of spotting. It can also be implantation bleeding which is normal, just the baby "settling in". This can happen as late as 5 weeks (or three weeks genstation). During your next US as long as you are at least 6+ weeks along they should be able to pick up the baby's heart beat... that's always reassuring.
