Breastfeeding/Pumping Question
posted 4th Jan
I've been bfing my DD for 9 months but haven't been pumping lately (mainly because I HATE pumping)... well I have used up all of my frozen supply and need to start pumping to save up again BUT I'm hardly responding to the pump I know it's normal to not get as much from a pump but I'm getting like 1 ounce total from both sides. Any tips on how to pump more??

Maybe massage your milk ducts towards your nipple some.
Btw when did you find the time to pump?! I try to pump & I'll get enough out but when DS wakes up he drains me dry then has to have the bottle. I wanted to store some. How could I go about doing it without making myself engorged when I'm not able to pump

I usually pump hour and a half after I feed dd after I set out all of her favorite toys so I know she'll entertain herself for a little while. Sometimes she'll crawl over and act like she's hungry if she gets a clear view so I try to prevent that LOL! I've never and any huge issues with engorgement my body usually just adjusts in a day or so.
