Quoting (Court)[CARSYNS]HERE!:" So it's been awhile since I've been on here but since then I've had my daughter and she is now 7 months ... [snip!] ... or did you like it? Also any other answers or comments to online college pertaining to the pros and cons are more then welcome."
I took classes at a local community college and some of the classes were online. But I never used a online only college.
In my experiences you have to be a self-learner to do online classes. If you are a hands on type learner online classes are not for you. If have to have structure, no one is going to remind you to do your assignments. It takes dedication to do online school work, and there isn't always a professor you can run to if you have a problem.
Personally I loved online classes such as history, fine arts, and business courses. But when it came to computers, biology and other course I preferred the in class approach .
My mom was 48 when she first enrolled in college and she loved it. I say everyone should give it a try at least once.
