Darkned nipples

Is there anything else besides pregnancy that can cause your nipples to get darker? They both look spotty dark brown.

Hormone changes.

Tanning naked in a tanning bed. I have really sensitive nipples (tmi??) And I had to put the little eye goggle things on them when I was tanning.
