Another Breastfeeding Question.

posted 4th Jan
Some days I am so tired or so busy, I don't eat much. Could that mess up my milk supply? My boobs don't leak as bad as they did anymore either, so that's another reason why I ask if my supply could be effected. I know my son is eating enough, he is a chunky boy...but I worry a ton about EVERYTHIHG!

No, it should not. However, you should start eating a healthy/regular diet because it's more of an issue for you. The baby will take nutrients from other stores in your body (like your bones/teeth, muscles, etc.)

I was just reading up on that. I try to eat as healthy as possible & I still take my prenatals every day. But sometimes I just, forget to eat.

No, your body will just take what it needs from you to produce the breastmilk.

It's normal not to be so engorged or leak as much after the the first few weeks, and your breasts might not feel full...that's just your milk supply regulating itself to meet baby's demand. As long as he's gaining weight, peeing & pooping, and you can hear him swallowing while he's feeding I'm sure he's getting enough

Okay, well that is a relief lol. Like I said, I am super paranoid. He does all of the above, so I guess we are good to go
