When was it safe for you to use tampons??

With DD1 I can remember being on my period & my tampon "fell out" (not completely but pretty damn close) I don't remember how soon after her birth that this happened as it was 6 years ago.. DD weighed 9lbs7oz.
THIS LO weighed 10lb7oz lol. I HATE wearing pads. I feel so disgusting. I'm not looking to wear one now as I wouldn't want to risk infection but just for future reference.... I'm also bfing so it may not even matter anyways lol. I bottle/bf DD1 until 3 months when we went ff route so AF came pretty quickly

You're not supposed to use tampons until after 6 weeks I believe. I hate pads too, but its a risk using tampons.

Hmm... After the 6 week checkup you can wear tampons. My biggest baby was 10.4 but I never had that issue , granted my period didnt return until around 18mths pp.

I'm not sure because I don't use tampons because when I do I get yeast infections every single time after each period.

Oh no, like I stated in OP I wouldn't use them now, I don't want to risk infection

I was recommended not to use them until after my 1st 2 pp periods, which was about 8wks after delivery.

That is with the regular size. I can't use the bigger one because they are so uncomfortable for me:/ Doesn't help that AF rears her head for 6-7 days so it sucks! But I was ok to use tampons with my first PP period which appeared at 6 weeks but when I tried, it was uncomfortable. This last one was fine but I had the leaking issue, Gotta love the female body.

I use cloth pads but plan to switch to the diva cup soon, just need to pick one up.

Cloth pads, really? I have heard of it but never actually talked to anyone who used them. How do they work?

Just like disposable pads,,except I wash them and reuse them. I've used them for years, I love them and I hated pads back when I use to use disposable ones. Cloth ones aren't all wet and squicpshy like sposie ones.
