what is wrong with me...

posted 4th Jan
i'm so worried right now. i have had normal blood pressure my whole life (usually 115/70). i had my second baby 9 weeks ago and had perfect blood pressure (110/60) the whole pregnancy. a few weeks after i had him i started getting high blood pressure readings, the highest it ever was, was around 140/90. i'm so scared. i eat relatively healthy (i don't eat that much salt), i exercise every day, and im only 22. i am genuinely worried for my life right now. i know that high blood pressure is known as the silent killer. im supposed to take my blood pressure 2x/day for 2 weeks. until then, any ideas of why it could be so high? my doctor said i could possibly be on BP meds the rest of my life and that made me so depressed. i have never been on any kind of medication, i'm usually such a healthy, health conscious person.

idk what to tell you hun cause its silent for a reason and can come for no reason whatsoever...however it does not have to be scary and deadly just continue your life as you are take meds if need to and stay calm you will just make it worse by getting all worked up

I had high blood pressure for 6 weeks or more after I had DS.. Had to be put on medicine and everything.
I've never had a history of high BP. The doctors said that it was probably caused from labor, stress of having baby, etc..
