re: If you're pro gun

Yes my son will go through safety courses throughout his entire life. In fact, I think that should be a requirement to even own a gun.

I would definitly not shoot yet. I would recommend constantly instilling that respect for fire arms into them, until it is time to shoot. I just think sometimes that young they just can't fully wrap their heads around how insanely important it is to respect them and treat them like the deadly weapons they can be.

At four, we went over the parts of a gun, watched videos on what kind of damage they do, general safety. After that, she helped us take apart and clean all of our weapons. She started at the range on her fifth birthday and is now a regular gun nut like us. She gets her allowance in ammo and when she saves up a certain amount, we take her to the range. No, we don't give her the ammo until we get to the range. We keep an nra sticker chart.

Yep. As soon as she is old enough to understand, we'll begin gun education and safety. When she's old enough to hold a gun responsibly and understand it, (bb probably), we'll teach her how to use it. Mostly likely around 5/6 or so

Yes , one day in the future we will teach him. I used to go shooting with my dad at the range alot as a kid.   I think it's very important to learn gun safety and all that so we will be teaching him how to shoot aswell as gun safety.

Perhaps when our LO we will teach her. Not sure though. Maybe earlier or later depending on her interest.

If you're are pro guns would you teach your kids how to shoot? Yep.

and if so at what age? I'd say like 8 or so. If she shows interest in it. I wouldn't force anything on her.
