Nursing bras & clothes coming home
posted 4th Jan
My pre preg bra size was 34A, but now I'm a 36B... my ribs expanded. I bought some nursing bras earlier because we dont have any maternity clothes sold in stores where I am (Tourist driven beach), so I bought 34Bs and they definitely don't fit now. Should I get more in size 36? or do your ribs go back quickly if at all?
Also, what do you end up wearing around the house while youre home with the baby? Again, there is no maternity or nursing clothes here so I would have to order online without being about to try on (which I feel is important), so anything I can look out for that isn't "nursing" that I can wear? What best hides your belly as it goes down? What was easiest to nurse in? My mother in law suggested anything with a print in case I leak or get spit up on to hide better. I'm planning on being home for about 3 months before I go back to work.

I didn't go back down to a 34 till I finally lost all my pregnancy weight at about 2 years pp. I was a 36C from pregnancy, bfing till 16 months, and a bit after till, like I said< I lost my weight then I went back down to a 34 but got to keep my c cup instead of my old b!! I would get 2 in 36 and go from there.

I would buy a couple bras that fit you now and see what happens before you buy more.
I like yoga pants because they are sooo comfy but also look presentable.

Do you have a target?
I wear one of their sports bra type nursing bras at home, or a nursing cami.

Also, if your bras fit in the cup area, you can get band extenders.
