Diet question
posted 4th Jan
I'm counting calories and I do good all day but as soon as night time comes its like all I want to do is eat so much. What do you do to keep from late night snacking and if you have one what kind of snacks do you eat? Also should I cut so da out all together or does it hurt to have a diet soda now and then?

I would cut it out altogether!
As far as being hungry at night, I have the same issue. I think it's because that's when you slow down and aren't as busy. So try to keep yourself busy. If you start getting hungry, have a full glass of water. Then snack on something light, like a 100 calorie popcorn packet, or some berries, cottage cheese with a little honey drizzled over or something.

Cottage cheese is a filling slow release protien u can eat at night to keep u full. Find a distraction cuz most late night eating is out of bordem vs hunger.

My doctor told me that when you think you are hungry to chug a glass of water first. If you are still hungry after then you were really hungry, if not you were just thirsty. He says that sometimes our brains cant tell the difference between hungry and thirsty. Also, if your counting calories, try stop drinking soda or anything like that if you do. There is no use in drinking away your calories.
If you use My fitness Pal it helps a lot. Thats what Im doing.
