I'm not really sure how common it is but my husband has one partially descended testie and one fully descended. It doesn't affect his ability to produce fertile sperm so the doctors never operated, it just looks a little lopsided doenthere. My son's didn't both come down until he was about a year. I'm concerned about whether this baby will have that issue or not.

My husbands is still partial as well, but it doesn't go into his abdomen. My sons was completely stuck in his abdomen so they had to operate.. They said it could overheat and rupture or something.
I just hope this baby doesn't have to have the surgery.. It really wasn't a bad recovery at all, it was just so hard having my baby have surgery and be away from me for two hours. Plus we had Medicaid with my first, I'd prefer not to have yet another medical bill.

Yeah my husband's stays down as well so it's a healthy testie its just a little higher than its partner. Lol my son is six and his are usually down where they belong but sometimes retreat back up. His doctor is going to revisit the topic at his next appointment. He's 6 now.

I had no idea what it was when they told me my son had it.. I mean I had never heard of it not descending, wow he had it for awhile, they made me feel like it was urgent for it to come down once he neared a year old.
