Circumcision!

Hahahahaaaa ... I didn't even think about this til the other day when my mum asked me what i will be doing!!! Then came the Awkward Question 'Are my Brother Circumcised?'. LOL He question totally backfired on her, she ended up being the embarassed one! Love it!!
Still no idea what i will do, Think i will just leave it and when my lil man is big enough to decide himself he can do as he pleases

Lol. I will have to admit, I was so surprise at how many people asked me that question. I didn't know so many people needed to know about my son's penis. Lol...

My LO is a week old and I will be getting his done when he turns a month old. I have done alot of research and I think it's better to do it. That's just my opinion.

I'm glad m family isn't like that. I only know about my oldest nephew's penis because I changed his diapers when babysitting him lol. Actually BG is the only place I've seen talk so much about it.

my doctor talked to me about it and told me about all the plus sides of getting it done. She said that not getting it done can make it easier for him to get an std later in life cause the foreskin traps in bacteria and can cause alot of infections. She also said it could cause him to feel different since his dad is and he wasn't.

My son is circumcised but, your doctor has misinformed you. Do some research and decide for yourself.

Just because he's uncircumcised doesn't mean he has a greater risk of getting an STD. If he gets an STD its because he had sex with someone with an STD not because he has foreskin to "trap it in."

I'm due with a boy in April and have done research and I'm getting it done the day after he's born in the hopsital. I have tons of studies and the links to them if you want them. I don't believe in pushing others to do what I'm doing or to bash them for their beliefs. Some other Mom's on BG who are also getting and have got their boys circumcised have been supportive and sent me tons of info on it so I have tons if you want it just PM me. Good Luck!

It surprises me that my friends or family haven't asked about my unborn sons penis!

Yeah that's awkward. I had never thought about my family members (dad, brother) being or not until I had to decide for my son. lol
