well for the last 18 hours i have been getting back pains and little sharp pains in my lower area i dont know if they are braxton hicks or real labour pains for the last 18 hours my pains come and go ever like 20 mins i dont wanna walk around because it gets worst and laying down the same so im sitting up wondering if i should go into the hospital or just stick it out

You're only supposed to go in if they're consistent & 4-5 mins apart. I would go in if they're 20 mins apart

I would go in. Here, you cant go to the hospital until you are pretty heavily into labor, but who the smurf wants to be traveling to the hospital in that state?! Or you could time them over the next hour and see if they get closer together.

YOu should go in when your contractions are consistantly 3-5 min, lasting at least 60 sec, for at least 2 hours and at a strength the you have to stop talking to breath through. ( or if your water breaks) you literally could be contracting like this for weeks. I contracted every 5 min for 2 months. if you want to get labor moving then you should be walking lots, drinking lots of fluids and keeping the bladder empty.
