RANT

UGH...so its 2 am and my 5 month old is wide awake. I come into the living room where SO is sleeping on the couch. she plays on the floor for a min then i mention to him hey will you change her diaper...and he freaks. says hes soo tired because he got up early...ran errands and watched her from 4 - 9 30. umm ok i got up early with the baby...watched her and took care of her while he ran arrands...worked from 4-9 30..came home and took over mom duties again...feed and played with her then put her to bed at 12....and im sick! im freakin tired too! i do more then him everyday...i have 2 jobs...and the mom job doesnt end.ugh end of rant

Why are you in a relationship with someone who would treat you that way? He helped make the kid it's his job to help take care of it day and night.

long story lol he has issues of his own that i understand and he is working thru them, and he does help but he gets angry easy if i tell him off like that i have to sugar coat smurf lol

yep my hubby does the same men are big babies lol i always say im raising 3 not 2, 3 including my hubby lol and in june it will be 4 lol

My point is it shouldn't be an argument. It's his child too and he should t be an ass about helping out. I hate how in today's culture it's become more along the lines of acceptable for men to act like this. You're the mom so you do it. It's disgusting. If I'm sick my husband gets up no questions asked. When my daughter wasn't sleeping at night ever we split the evenings. It's a partnership we do it together. We even have a code phrase that when one of says it it means we are at our limit and can't take it anymore. We just hand the baby over and that's that no questions asked no bitching no nothing.

i always say i have two kids not one lol.....ugh and he pushed so hard to have a baby. he helps just not as much as he should i feel like smurf and im sleepy and my child is still awake....this man sound asleep lol

oh how i wish i had that....we rushed into things...ik saw warning signs and ignored it....i love my baby girl with all my heart but i wish sometimes i wish i had picked her a different dad

true and your right it shouldnt i agree and i wish my hubby was like yours i think the real prob is men these days are just immature and like mine he was an only child who was spoiled and didnt have a dad not saying he has an excuse but i think its just taking him more time to grow up and it took me leaving him for 3 months to straighten up to the point he is at now and i understand he has a disease and he is in pain but i have fibromyalgia and sciatica and hurt as well and i was raised military and that you get up get it done and get over it lol

Best of luck ladies. I know I got really lucky with my husband he does way more than I ever expected a man to do. I figured when I had kids it would be similar situations to yours, he proved me wrong and raised the bar. I can't imagine basically living as a single parent with my partner just laying there.
