re: What do you typically eat for breakfast?

posted 4th Jan
I usually don't eat breakfast but if I do it's something like a granola or fiber bar. Sometimes I'll eat cereal, and others (if someone else cooks it) I'll eat pancakes.

I see, now I remember (about tea, I'd heard that before). We basically just say snack

Americans are coming around to the rest of the world when it comes to coffee, haha. But majority do drink the americano style as you say. French presses (like your silver pot) are also common tho'.
My kids and I drink tea (hot), which I don't think is typical for most american kids but we also drink a lot of iced tea which is pretty common in america - sweetened tea if you're in the south.

But what is the white???

To me gravy is made of meat drippings, it's brown and NEVER lumpy.

It's basically like a bechamel with crumbled sausage in it (that's why it's lumpy). I call that kind of gravy sausage gravy or sawmill gravy.

I thought Cracker Barrel was a brand of cheese.

I have never ever seen it in real life. Ever.
I don't know if I could eat it.
I think because to me gravy is brown and never lumpy that looks like a failed brown gravy some grandma smurfed up by adding smurf tons of corn flour.

They do make cheese. But they also carry lots of old timey candies and food mixes/jarred foods in their stores, which are always attached to a Cracker Barrel restaurant.

I love marmalade too!!! I thought it was English! My kids eat it.

Tea is mostly hot, drunk by adults.
Only ice tea is bought in bottles and is sweet, not that popular.

It's rather tasty though! But I know you said you guys don't do the whole creamy + minced meats thing. If it's made fresh, I like it.
