Omg!     That is horrible! That poor girl!
If one of my sons were to do something like this, Dh's answer would be to beat the smurf out of him, than take him to the police. I would just simply take him to the police and make him talk!

I'm glad this is out in public now because with nation wide attention, the local law enforcement cannot force the family of the victim to back down. People will demand justice.

And sadly, I'm sure this happens SO often around the world and many of them go unreported.

I would personally escort my son to the police and I would completely support the girl's family if they chose to press charges. It seems like all of them pretty proudly announced their involvement. I have a daughter too, if he was capable of raping a girl I wouldn't want to put her at risk. It may sound cold but I would not want him living with me again unless he was in some very intense therapy and my daughter would be asked to lock her door just in case while she was sleeping. I don't think I could ever trust him again without supervision.

I would be outraged if my son did something like this. Like, where the hell did I go wrong? I would be devestated for the girl and that I failed as a parent. I would do anything I could to get my son help and reach out to the family.
I would never turn my back on my kid no matter what he does, but I would not just sit back and do nothing either.
This is SICK. I hope each and every person that participated is punished with the full extent of the law. They ruined her life for a long time & now they will have to pay for their crimes.

I didn't read anything about her being drugged, only that she had drank an excessive amount to the point of passing out. Not that it makes any difference whatsoever in their guilt. From what I understand, the football players are treated like little gods there and that's a huge issue. I have two sons and if either one ever took part in anything like that, I would make them face the consequences as would my husband. I was a teenage girl that drank all the time and put myself in dangerous situations and bad things did happen that I blamed myself for. Sure, my actions played a part in the outcome but it doesn't mean that me being stupid gave anyone the right to take advantage of me. Hopefully that's a lesson I can instill in my sons.

It has been widely reported that she was given something as they drove to the first party. The victim has no recollection of anything that happened after being picked up. People have said she was set up by a bitter ex boyfriend and this was all planned. I don't think a rape victim should take personal responsibility in a situation like this.

I would not forgive my son if he did something like that (if I had one/if my step son did that) or even if my child regardless of sex/gender just stood there and watched or didn't do anything. You can't let this smurf happen. I'm disgusted it sounds like people are blaming the victim , when it's truly not her fault. Rape is never the victim's fault.

I seen a little bit of the video on the news thismorning but this is the most I've heard about it.. It made me sick reading that  

If my son were involved in something like that he had better be able to hire a damn good lawyer because I would turn his ass in ASAP, though I would hope I raised him better than that.

It's more like crime scene photos or accident photos. It doesn't really bother me. I found the site looking for an autopsy video.
