re: Steubenville High School rape

I can't even fathom what I would do if it were my son...seriously. I'd want to shoot myself in the face for raising such a hideous pig of a human being. I cant' even get past that part as to what I'd' want to do to him...something equally as bad I am sure. THESE are the stories I want to shove in people's faces when they stupid smurf like "boys are so much easier to raise than girls" - as if...because we have done such an amazing job raising boys??? If boys were so "easy" to raise right, how the hell does this smurf happen?

These boys will be prosecuted to the fullest of the law now that the media has gotten a hold of it.

That poor girl. If my son ever did that I would beat his ass hand drag him to the police then I would disown his ass and kick him out on the street.

I don't really believe this. The adults in the area went to great lengths to cover this up. The sheriff is accused of deleting videos off of the boy's phone.

I really doubt it. If they get anything, it'll be a slap on the wrist. Stubenville is all about football, trust me i know. They idolize the players, its sickening.

If it was my son I'd tie his ass down and let her castrate him then hand him over to the cops.

Ugh, this whole thing is smurffy. I tell you what- the police officers in that town better be handing over their badges. It sounds like a total overhaul needs to be done. I wonder if things like this have happened in the past?
And I forgot to say, if any of my kids did something like this, I would be dragging them to the police station and making them talk. Or if they even KNEW anything and weren't involved.. Also, I would be seeking counseling for them, to try to work through things and make sure they were as least likely to repeat in the future, and to try to keep the general population safe down the road.

I don't even know how you would raise a kid who thinks any of this is ok and funny. If I were her parents I would not sleep until all of those little smurfers were in jail. There would be no scaring me off from getting justice. That girls life is pretty much ruined, she will never be the same.

And I would not do this. Kick em out? So they can go rape some other victim(s)? They are still kids and as long as they are in high school it would be your responsibilty to ensure you are seeking proper help for them.

Right! I would hope my child would show compassion and intervene instead of being swept up in the mob mentality. On top of that I would hope that the parent's of the boys involved would act like adults and allow for their kids to be punished. I don't know how it is expected that these boys take responsibility when their own parents won't do it.

Ya, I would NOT kick my child out when they so desperately need guidance
But mannnnnn would his life be OVER.

This just made my coffee rise to the back of throat .
I can't even fathom the nightmare this girl is going through. I hope that the parents are as horrified by their actions as I am right now.
If my son or daughter was anywhere near a situation like this and did not do something to stop it, I would consider myself a failure as a parent. I would take them to the police and give my permission to let them interrogate them for information.
I'm not honestly sure I could look at my child the same way again.

this is just horrifying and disgusting. These boys are nothing more than sexual predators. They are no different than the men who pull women off the streets and rape them. The ONLY difference is that their victim was already unconscious and had no chance at fighting them off.......that, and they are well known football players in their town. It absolutely sickens me that the police seemingly sat on the evidence they had in their posession until football season was over. Nice freakin morals. This poor girl will probably be haunted by, not only the rape, but also harsh judgement and nay sayers for a long time....maybe the rest of her life.
If my son participated in something as reprehensible as this, I wouldn't even be able to look at him, let alone defend him or shelter him from the public or media.
In no way do I want anyone to think that I am making excuses for their behavior or that I'm defending anything that they did, but I wonder if these boys would have ever done anything like this individually. Probably not. It's amazing what "mob mentality" will influence people to do. Now, they've ruined her life, their lives and probably the lives of their parents. They deserve to serve time just like any other piece of smurf rapist out there. I'm glad they have such strong evidence against these boys so they can't try to say that their victim is just trying to cover up sexual promiscuity. Clearly that is not the case.

I think I would disown them. No child of mine rapes and abuses another person and thinks I'M going to still claim them as mine. Nope. I will still love them because they are my children, but I don't think I would ever want to speak to them ever again.
