Red Bottom, this is exactly what its about, you feel like you are better than everyone else, and everyone else is an idiot. I have seen you in numerous threads, and you always have this same negative attitude.

Oh yeah? In every thread? You do realize you're in a thread about someone being negative about someone else, who clearly states she think's she's above the person she's venting about....

Yet somehow you've turned this into something about me.

Kudos.

Oh I guess people in your world can't vent about things, and yes in every thread that I have seen you in and a lot of others, you have been a royal negative bitch

There's a cfc again though now, some people like that.
I initially thought you were a previous member I liked, very similar name and avi actually.
I just saw you be pleasant in the cfc thread to moustachio though, so I guess I'll say I have seen you be nice now.
I think people are testy as it has been pretty awful on here at times, I hate to see nastiness for the sake of nastiness. It grinds my gears.
Why not be nice more often and less know it all?
That's some og advice right thurrrr

I wouldn't be rude where rude isn't necessary.
As you can see, I am pleasant, if you saw more of my posts, you may be able to gauge my pleasantness.

But the thing is different people have a different understanding of 'necessary'. Who are you to determine when it's necessary?
You were rude about how the Australian govt 'wasted' money on a gun buy back scheme and and economic stimulus process- I don't get that.

I could say the same thing. Who are you to say that my opinion of "unnecessary" is less valid?

My opinion that the government buying everyone's guns from them for more than they're worth is an example of them wasting money....especially since their home invasion rate went up 30% following the buy back.

I do understand what you're saying, I just think we have differing opinions on how to deliver opinions, which is fine actually.

I wasn't aware home invasions were increased post the buy back. I've never considered home invasions to be an issue here. Is a home invasion like someone robbing your home?

Yes. That's someone breaking into your home. With less guns, criminals were less afraid of the consequences of breaking into people's homes, thus did it more frequently.

Really? Because here we never really had the 'buying guns for protection' thing even prior to the buy back it was an amnesty on illigal guns.We don't have and never have had 'a right to bare (bear? I never know!) arms'. Do people steal stuff here? Yes! But it's junkies and the do it when no one is home. I can tell you without doubt that the gun buy back did not make junkies more likly to break in. But it did lessen accidents from people smurfing around with guns and hurti h themselves on a farm, gun suicides, and since then we've had no massacres caused by au citizens I don't think.
It's an entirely different mind set here, which is why I love seeing bg views, I love seeing and discussing cultural differences. Here in a normal home if you see someone breaking in you run away and call the police.
The vast vast vast majority of Aussies supported the buy back, we feel safer, I'm yet to meet an Australian who wishes they had a gun for protection, I can't imagine any would unless they're in a bikie gang lol
