Heard good things about it...
Thoughts?

"The DivaCup is a reusable, bell-shaped menstrual cup that is worn internally and sits low in the vaginal canal, collecting rather than absorbing your menstrual flow. Wear The DivaCup for up to 12 hours without leaks or worry."

I tried the soft cup a couple of days ago and the first one worked great, the second leaked. I only got to as samples, so I'm going to buy them and see how they work and move on to the diva cup if I'm not satisfied. The Soft cup is more flexible than the diva cup.

if you get it in rkight, and change it often enough it won't leak. I've been using them for years, only leaked once. I should have expected it... because it didn't feel right when I sat down lol.

"The DivaCup is a reusable, bell-shaped menstrual cup that is worn internally and sits low in the vaginal canal, collecting rather than absorbing your menstrual flow. Menstrual cups have existed since the 1930s when women were searching for an alternative to the choices of the time. Yet, its breakthrough into the feminine hygiene industry is much more recent.
Many women feel uneasy about changing their menstrual care routine. Years of dealing with the sights and odors of disposable tampons and pads cause the familiar reaction: “ick!”. The DivaCup empowers women to connect with their bodies and menstrual cycles like never before. Perfect for all activities (on air, land or sea), its easy care and use make for a better period experience. Wear The DivaCup for up to 12 hours without leaks or worry."

great description.

I'm always shocked when people think menstrual cups sound gross. The thought of shoving cotton inside me to absorb blood for hours at a time is archaic and gross to me. I'll never use a tampon again.

Plus... the period odor women get...is the smell of blood oxidizing. With a menstrual cup..there is no odor. With Soft Cup..I can even have sex without my guy knowing I'm on my period

The diva cup website says not to have sex cause it sits so low in the vagina... soft cups you can have sex? That sounds a little dangerous to me, like what if it gets stuck? Lol. I just saw the soft cups at Walgreens but I like the idea that the diva cup is re-usable if kept sanitary.

I have been thinking of trying this as well. I just do not like the feminine odor I get. I almost throw up while changing a tampon and I absolutely cannot wear a pad those really gross me out. I am definitely going to try the soft cups first.

I've been using the softcups. They're awesome. No odor, you can't feel it. You can have sex with them in. Just so much better than a tampon or pad.

How often do you have to change the soft cup?

yes, absolutely you can have sex. It's just a ring with plastic (like saran wrap) across the bottom.

Yes..messy to take out until you get used tothem.... but you can wear up to 12 hours (depending on your flow) so I only change them at home
