That happened to my sister's boyfriend's dad. He shot himself in the head and it didn't kill him. The Lord was watching over your father and my sister's boyfriend's dad, I believe, when they tried doing it.

sucks he isn't watching over more people.

I can tell you this.. The pain you leave behind for your children is unbearable and never goes away. Neither does the guilt of what ifs, or the heart ache at every major life event. It's a selfish act that leaves everyone else miserable. My Dad committed suicide 3 years ago and it still hurts everyday.

Many many times I've thought about putting me out of this misery I live in. I think watching my dad die so horribly and taking his last breath in front of me really messed me up. I just get so damn angry for him being chosen to die so horribly when he didn't deserve it. Not that anyone does, but it just pisses me off.

He should still be here with us, he was an amazing man. He will be gone 8 years tomorrow.

I think about it....bc at times I feel I hate my life and noone loves me. I would never attempt it or do it though because I love my kids WAY to much to leave them.
