friend question

ok here's the deal. I've been friends with this girl I guess the last couple months at so and we also work together sometimes. well anyways she had told me about a month ago that as shes been dealing with a lot and has been contemplating suicide. well a couple weeks ago me and three other girls got texts from her one night saying that she was goin to die soon and I thought she was just blowing steam. I come in th next to work and my boss called the cops to go and check on her since she wouldn't answer the phone. well she was ok and she has been up and down since. she was removed from our meeting at work because her supervisors are crap and she was replaced at the meeting with another girl. anyways that girl asked me today if there were any hard feelings between us since she took her spot. I told her no that it didn't have anything to do with her I have just tried to be supportive of her because of all the things she went through. she asked me what about and I told her about the prior incident (which I thought she already knew about) well when I get back to the office the other girl cones to my office and tells me her bosses brought her in the office and talked to her about getting help. idk if I made things worse or not or if it's something else? she recently posted on th this be careful who you share your weaknesses with some people can't wait for the opportunity to use it against you. is it just me or am I worried about nothing. I sent her a text to check on her and she said she was upset at her boss's because they are twofaced. also she sent me a bday invitation to her bday shortly after that, so could that post me about me? should I just tell her what I told the other girl? I'm confused because I didn't mean to hurt her I was only looking out for her

This might sound horrible, but it sounds like she's just needy for attention.

If you're planning on ending your life, why would you send invites to your bday party? She doesn't want to die. It's a cry for help b/c she wants someone to care. She needs professional help... more than what you or anyone else can give her.

You are doing everything you can and are being a good friend. There really isn't anything else you CAN do if she doesn't seek out medical help.

that's just it I wasn't trying toto hurt her I was only sticking up for her. she can look at it however she wants, but really I was trying to help people to understand that she has problems and not be hard on her like they are
