24 weeks and having some back and abdominal pains

posted 3rd Jan
i will be 25 weeks on sunday and i have been having some bh contractions for the last few weeks and they havent been painful but the past 4 days i have been having a lot of lower back pain and some lower abdominal pain nothing really painful but its just a little sharp feeling but nothing unbearable mostly annoying and usually disappears with some rest but im not sure if it could have something to do with the way the baby is laying or maybe where im getting bigger but its worrying me... does anyone know what it could be and should i be worried?

It's pretty normal. Baby moving and their position plus all the stretching of ligaments and muscle will cause that.

my back doesn't hurt after a BH, but ive noticed the next day my back is really sore. abdomenal pain can be from the baby growing especially if its low. as long as the pain goes away then you should be fine, if it doesnt go away or it comes back constently then id ask your doctor.

my ob said that the more pregnancies you have the more you feel. which could be the baby or could be pain... its a good bad kind of thing i think.

as long as you cant time the BH, or if you lay down and they stop then your okay. Its when you can start to time them or they presist even after laying down that you need to be worried about. BH are suppose to get our bodies ready for labor not actually cause labor..if that makes sence. lol.
