DH vent (tmi)

That stupid stomach bug has been going around at our house. My 5 year old had it first she would say she had to throw up and run to the bathroom. NEVER one time did she hit the floor with it. So now my DH and 10 year old son has it. Not one time have they made it to the toilet. My Dh throw up all over the bed and the floor. We just got the bed about a week ago. My 10 year old son got to the hall and BR door and it went all over the bathroom. Ok I get that they are sick but I do not want to clean up throw up while taking care of a 3 week old baby. I am so scared my baby is going to get this crap. But my main thing is WHY CAN'T THEY MAKE IT TO THE BR. Is it just a guy thing or what?

Have them both carry plastic bags with them... Like attach it to their legs!!

Sounds like maybe they're fighting it and trying not to barf, but then they just can't hold it in...

When I was smaller I would fight it and not make it to the toilet. Now that I've accepted that its gonna happen either way I make it to the toilet.

I just carry a trash can around with me since I do not want my face in the toilet...

We use bowls here just in case you can't make it to the bathroom. I've never been able to make it to the bathroom actually. I've always used a bowl.

Give them all deep mixing bowls or small trash cans without a liner in them and make them carry them   it works great!! When I am sick I always make it but just in case I always have something like this right next to me as well as making the hubby or my step son carry it with them too just in case and if they still dont make in one of those THEY get to clean it up sick or not!!! I hope LO dont get it my 3 month old just got over a head cold and dear god it was horriable!! Hopefully everyone starts feeling better soon!!

Give them both a bucket and confine them to one room. If they need the toilet, they take the bucket with them!

Thanks, I gave them a small trash can and my son still hit the floor. So I made him clean it up. I know its not there fault that they are sick. But I guess having a new born and 3 other kids and not getting any sleep has hit me hard. Plus my blood pressure has been high. I just need a break...lol
