re: diaper genie

The 1 I got for my 1st baby (6 1/2 years ago) worked awesome, it never stunk u potash diaper thru then twist the bag with the lid, I would fill up can maybe 2 weeks?? Then take it out it looked like old school sausege links from cartoons lol
When I got the diaper genie elite, for jades nursery, it sucked  

We have one, I loved it [we CD now]. Our house is 2 stories, we kept it up stairs...I'm not gonna lie, I'm way too lazy to stumble downstairs in the middle of the night to throw away a poopy diaper. It's convenient!

I have a motion operated one from Graco that my dad bought us. It takes tall kitchen bags, and i love it.

I love it! It works so well for me.

I love mine. It holds a lot. I have a smaller one & empty it out once a week. I can also use the refill multiple times since I have a smaller can. DD is seven weeks old and I've used one refill completely, I'm on my second

i love mine. I kept forgetting to buy refills recently..so i went a couple weeks without using it,, and realized how much i love using it! even if i double bag the diapers and put them in the garbage..it makes the garbage stink. but the diaper genie keeps the stink away..and it hold ALOT of diapers..idk what the women saying it only holds 5 are talking about. And since it holds alot..you dont have to buy refills that often..i throw pee diapers in the regular garbage.

ugh it was a wasted of time and money. I hated it. My ex-husband refused to take it out and those diapers are not light when they are full of pee and poop. It still smelled in the room. I will just put each diaper in a grocery bag and put it in the dumpster straight away.

Got the arm and hammer one and love it! Keeps the stink out and easy to use.

i love it, but how i save money is that i only put the poopy diapers in the genie. the other diapers go in the regular garbage can. the diaper genie sits right beside our garbage, works great. don't smell a thing, but if we accidently put a poopy diaper in the garbage even wrapped up, boy do you smell that. so I LOVE IT!!!

I have one and loved it! I plan on using it again too! At the preschool we just use the arm and hammer scented thing's and throw them in the bottom!

i am on my second kid with this one and i don't know what everyone is talking about. it to me is the greatest invention ever. i have only used it for poopy diapers from day 1 so it takes it at least a week to fill up usually or twice a week. i don't buy refills that much so when i do it really doesn't matter they they are alittle expensive. it's way better than putting it in the garbage to smell IMO
