is it bad of me to.....

want another baby shower i have 2 kids and had 2 baby showers i know typically your only suppose to have one, but no one came to my 1st shower with my son which is why i had another with my daughter and ppl actually came to that one....the reason i want another is because i dont have alot of money my hubby dont have a job and has been looking for a yr and is either under or over qualified and due to our vehicle being well crappy (tires need to be pumped up regularly, gas gauge dont work, and lights randomly go out) we cant travel long distance, we live with family and i have a crib but my daughter is using it cus i dont have another toddler bed and i will need diapers and a breast pump, i did save most of the baby stuff in case i needed it, but is it selfish of me to at least ask to have a diaper party?

The way DH's Grandma put it is...would you only have a birthday party for one child? I mean, consider it a "pre-birthday party" for your child. Why not? I was brought up to believe you only have one, but I feel differently about it now.

Have a meet the baby party after the child is born.

Also, a toddler bed is a waste of money. Buy a twin or single instead.

i was wondering the same thing. with my son i had 1 person show up to my babyshower, with my daughter i had maybe 5 ppl. my son is about to be 5 and i have given away all my boy stuff, my daughter is 13 months. they say not 100% yet that this baby is a boy so if it is im screwed cuz i dont have any boy stuff anymore only girly stuff. i didnt know if it would ok if it is a boy to ask for another baby shower. still considering it just not sure yet

yea that was the big question i was facing lol thank goodness for the other ladies comments they have some great ideas

yeah they really have.. most of the time the ladies on here are really helpful. i mean if this baby is a girl then itll be fine i have plently of stuff since my daughter is actually just now in 6-9 month clothes.

yea i dont know what this one is either and they are but some of the ladies are mean at times lol but these that posted on this thread very nice and helpful and i understand that one trust me my breast pump broke so i need one badly i want to feed this baby breast milk but i cant feed thro the breast due to my nipples being flat and inverted lol

at my last appt which baby was messuring at 13w6d you could clearly see something between the legs, the doctor even was like hmmm i cant say for sure but im almost positive your not having another girl. i started laughing cuz i was thinking the same thing just hadnt wanted to say anything.

did you try a shield? thats what one of my friends had to use, her nipples where very flat.

yea i went at 13 wks and 2 days and no parts to be seen lol and yes i tried those didnt work at all lol if you even touch my nipples they invert more its weird lol

well maybe youll get another girl   im not caring really either way since i have my boy and my girl already. my husbands wants a boy and my son says he wants a brother so guess if its a boy at least they will be happy ... lol
hmmm thats odd hers werent that bad lol... at least your able to pump though thats a good thing. i could never get more then like 1/2 oz at the most from both and that was like after 30 mins.
